We had a great Vampire Swim this morning in Ottawa, Ontario Canada! (Well, technically Gatineau, Quebec) Water was chilly at 12.4C/54F, and we had a small group of 7 swimmers go in skins (no neoprene), and were in the water from 22mins to 1 1/2 hours.
The Vampire Swim is an informal fun swim, started by Kingdom Games and held at various locations around the world at Halloween. The goal is to raise blood donations or cash donations to the local blood bank, hence the vampire theme.
