I've been on the road on/off for the past 5 weeks, and this Ontario girl was quite worried about losing her cold water acclimatization. A very chance meeting on Facebook in a swim forum at 7:20am this morning lead to a swim with a new cold swimmie friend Connie an hour later in Hong Kong Uni's outdoor unheated pool. Water 15.5C, air 3.4C, wind 45km with gusts up to 64km, we stayed in for 1hr 15mins. By the end, the air and wind caught up with us, so I was good and cold! HK is having record-low temps right now. Too cold to sightsee? Go swimming!
