Swim write-up: FINA Masters Worlds 2014, 3km

Some of you may recall a while back, I posted about swimming FINA masters worlds with my dad, who swam the open water event 20 years ago when it was last in Montreal. My swim was a bit rough and slow, thanks to a nasty cough, but overall pleased that I persevered. Dad's heat started late, so I only got to see the heat start, but mum took great pics. Fit at 70! From the looks of it, I'm in the white cap coming down the finish chute, I did not inherit his high elbow recovery...awesome weekend, proud of my dad!
