I swam yesterday in Lake Ontario, 24mins, 700m, 11C(51.8F). Thanks to Deb, I got a ton of great pics for stroke analysis, and after looking at my position vis-a-vis swimming into waves, I'm at peace with the functionality of my straight-arm recovery. I get a lot of criticism, but I also get great clearance, it engages my pecs and eases the load on rotator cuff muscles, and my shoulders feel great despite distance training. Feeling mighty chuffed!
