Today was a good day, my first pool swim since last August (or early September maybe). I decided to test out my pacing, and general ability to not die after 9 months out of a pool. So I settled on a 2km straight swim, no stopping, just swimming.
2 km, no stopping:
1st km = relaxed but steady pace (came in at 19:00)
2nd km = work harder to keep same time as 1st km (came in at 19:36)
I was happy with the pace, and kinda surprised too. Considering how out of shape I am overall, time was not too shabby!!
