Cold water swimming in Canada
When we first started swimming year-round in the Ottawa area, we were aware of only a few other groups doing the same thing, mostly via social media. We knew there had to be more people out there loving the cold as much as we did - we just had to find them!
A group of friends started the "Canadian Cold Water Swimming (CCWS)" group on Facebook to create an open forum where people could gather and share what they were doing. Turns out, there's a whole heck of a lot of us!
